This policy explains what information Toy Syndicate collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service.
Information we collect
- Account details — your email, handle, and display name when you register.
- Profile content — anything you add to your profile, such as your bio, links, location, avatar, and cover image.
- Collection activity — the items you mark as owned or wanted, your display photos and item tags, follows, contributions, and reviews.
- Technical data — basic information your browser sends (such as device and general usage) needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
- To provide core features — your collection, wishlist, display, and the community.
- To maintain the community-verified catalog and review contributions.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- To respond to your support requests and feedback.
What's public
Your handle, display name, avatar, and any content you choose to make public (such as public display photos, follows, and reviews) may be visible to other users. You control the visibility of your display photos, and you can keep your profile private in Settings.
Storage & processing
Account data, catalog data, and uploaded images are stored with our infrastructure provider (Supabase, which runs on managed cloud hosting). Uploaded images are converted and stored in optimized formats. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Cookies & local storage
We use only the storage necessary to keep you signed in and remember essential preferences. We do not sell your personal information, and we don't run third-party advertising trackers.
Your rights
- Access & correction — view and edit your profile and account details at any time.
- Deletion — you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data; some catalog contributions may remain as anonymized, community-owned records.
- Export — request a copy of your collection and profile data.

Children
Toy Syndicate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
