By using Toy Syndicate, you agree to these terms. Please read them — they explain your rights and responsibilities, and ours.
1. Your account
You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information when you register, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use.
2. Acceptable use
Keep it a good place for collectors. You agree not to:
- Post unlawful, infringing, hateful, or misleading content.
- Deliberately submit false catalog data or vandalize entries.
- Scrape, overload, or attempt to disrupt the service or its security.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with an artist or maker.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you upload — your photos, profile, and collection data. By posting content publicly, you grant Toy Syndicate a non-exclusive license to host and display it within the service so the features work as intended. You're responsible for having the rights to what you upload.
4. Catalog contributions
The Database is a community resource. Edits and additions you contribute become part of the shared, community-verified record and may be reviewed, modified, or reverted by moderators to maintain accuracy. Factual catalog data (names, editions, dates) is not owned by any single contributor.
5. Marketplace & trades
Where marketplace or trading features are offered, any transaction is between the participating users. Toy Syndicate is not a party to those transactions and does not guarantee items, payments, or shipments unless expressly stated.
6. Availability
We work to keep the service running well, but it's provided “as is” and “as available.” We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.
7. Disclaimers & liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Toy Syndicate is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the prior twelve months.
8. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
